Fearless Approved Schools: PCC Cooks – Seattle

Seattleites probably know the PCC Natural Markets as the place to pick up local, organic anything, but while many may find the produce is prime, it’s the cooking classes that are the real star of the co-op.

Want to make vegetarian sushi? Gluten-free pasta? Homemade cheese? PCC has a variety of courses, many internationally-focused (think Mediterranean, Thai and even Egyptian cuisine),  plus lots of opportunities to get your tots and tweens in the kitchen with PCC Kids Cook, which hosts kids ages 2 to 14 (plus one adult guest) for hands-on instruction.

Bonus: Take PCC classes for a test spin with their Free Walk, Talk and Taste Class. It’s 90 minutes of cruising the aisles with a tour guide, who will navigate you through organic produce, sustainably-raised offerings and bulk foods.
